I get 20 on trips and that should increase due to the fact since my last round trip to Ft Benning,Ga and back(2400 miles)I added a tornneau and Magnaflow dual exhaust. Just my 2 cents................................Kevin.
Okay in this context the 355's are plenty, if you are moving already like 20mph or so and go WOT you better be straight and not into a curve because you could lose it, the 355's as far as I am concerned will save your tires. Cuz if you are driving around with 392's in the city you are gonna push the pedal harder ,you are gonna leave rubberand well in the summer on a cement road that is pure white take you truck with you 392's and just take of quick but don't spin your tires...you will still see dark black marks meaning your tires are leaving rubber behind. I would say the 355 just save you from wasting your back tires. I called a trailer company and they said I could pull 10 thousand lbs with my 355's, I may have to run in second gear on the highway and not get exactly the best mileage but it won't be a problem.
I think the Specs are underrated since the brakes I have now are like 10 times what I have Someone said a 20 foot Bowrider...thats not heavy unless you find one made of wood. My friend had a such a boat and he pulled it in and out of the city marina with a minivan, and old one, pontiac something, 4 cylinder. So I would not be too worried in fact I am gonna take out the six paragraphs I had before this because this makes the point. Happy towing.

Thanks guys for your help,I was on vacation so I couldn't respond till now. So I basically used everyone's advice and went with the 3.92's. Getting built soon so I had to get the order adjusted today. Hopefully I made the right choice. Thanks again.

I think you made the right choice, everytime I jump on the gas and the truck learches,I honestly think everytime"Thank god I got the 3.92's".I know if I would've gotten the 3.55's, I would've been craving a bit more getup and go. Just like when I switched my gears in my stang from 3.23's to 3.73's, then after a year I went and got 4.30's,lol lol.
