navigation system
I gave up on my factory nav. I now use my Droid with google maps. It's much better than the trucks. It gives better voice directions and even shows the street view when I reach my destination.
My onboard GPS did this a bunch.. I even turned the truck off.
Showed me way out in the middle of galveston bay.

I kinda wish I would have saved my money on the nav. It looks cool though! Oh and the maps are always out of date as well. And they charge you to update it! Google maps is always up to date.

compared to the high end tom-tom I had before, the factory nav is a significant improvement...no more waiting to find sat. and the traffic feature is great. generally it gives me the same routes as google maps on my I-phone, I have the voice feature turned off because it shows my next turn on the heads up display, so the voice just annoyed me.
I have a question though, has anyone had any luck syncing the addresses for your contacts over your bluetooth, I can access the address book on my iphone, but even if I have an address for that contact entered in the phone the nav unit says no address.....anyone figure out if its possable to get this to work?
