Mine is okay, have an 09 (11/08), see a couple of small foam pieces near

the hinge, but oh well no odor.

Found it.. It was "oldjeep's" Fart!

I know, it's sounds stupid doesn't it.. I noticed most everybody replied that they smelled their console but again, it's more noticeable on my forearm after a ride than it is on the console itself.. Oh well.. nuff said..

Funny that you'd suggest that.. My salesman told me when I bought the truck that one of the benefits of buying a truck from this dealer was that they put a protectant on the interior, but when this problem came up, it was like they never heard of doing such a thing. When I called them on it, they changed the subject. It probably isn't it anyway, my neighbors bought from different dealers and they've got the same issue.
