Who has used a throttle body spacer on their Hemi?
Arguments aside. Throttle body spacers on a modern engine do absolutely nothing except empty your wallet. As stated, spend the money on one and feel the difference as you will. No one can argue a butt dyno unless they know your butt. If you have numbers to back something up, post it. Otherwise, it didn't happen.

Here is all the proof you need. If a TBS alone truly added HP, why has nobody (Other then a TBS manufacturer or distributor and therefore invalid) posted a single YouTube video with dyno results before and after?. The only video's you will find with TBS's are where they added one PLUS other mods.
Considering how simple they are to install and how inexpensive they are, If a TBS was truly an effective mod where are all the video's of dyno runs?

Exactly. Though I don't agree with the "inexpensive" part. Lol. Anything over $50 is not inexpensive to me. Lol
Especially when it comes with ZERO return on investment,..
I'm sorry for all you guys on here that spent your $80 or $100 or more
on the TBS and that somehow makes you feel like it made a difference
because it cost's you money.. Manufactures and surely salesmen are going
to tell you what ever you want to hear to buy their products.. I buy products
from MOES personally and have had nothing but great experiences with them
but that aside if your willing to pay $100 for a paper weight then Moes will
certainly sell it to you , that's the bottom line..
MODERN FUEL INJECTED ENGINES DO NOT BENEFIT FROM TBS and it does not take an induction specialist to tell you that.. I know this rant is pointless and you
guys will continue to feel the way you do about them but I have just
got to vent on the topic its driving me mad..
Look at MOES shop truck that just ran the 12.6 1/4mile
Do you see a TBS listed on the mods list ?
Didn't think so.. hmmm he has access to all go fast parts and chooses not to use one.. food for thought.

You are a walking contradiction. You freely admit you don't know if they work or not but you "sure wouldn't advise anyone on their effectiveness" and yet you hurl insults at anybody who gives their opinion on them? This is a discussion forum. A place to DISCUSS things and give OPINIONS. I know you have stated that you particularly hate my posts because i take the time to explain my reasoning (and that requires you to think).
You don't need to be "an induction specialist" to comment on inductions. By your logic nobody on this site should be commenting on ANYTHING about Dodge trucks unless they work for Dodge and are classified as "Specialists" in the field they are commenting on. Let's hear you argue that?
You don't need to be a "specialist" to understand the simple physics of airflow in an internal combustion engine. But as for my "qualifications" I have owned 3 Ram's from 3 generations as well as a 300C. I have built half a dozen small block engines in my life (and used a Superflow Flowbench) Owned 11 vehicles and extensively wrenched 7 vehicles (4 trucks and 3 sports cars) where i did everything from cam swaps, injector swaps, head porting, exhausts, etc as well as countless friends and families cars plus worked in two different car shops, towed cars (including transporting NASCAR Supertrucks between a team in NY and NC engine shops) trained as a Diesel Mechanic (EMD's used in Locomotives which are built in both Supercharged or Turbocharged). I have also run cars on Chassis Dyno's as well so i am well aware of the concept of actual HP gains and how they are measured. (The difference between advertising and reality). I also have run the drag strip dozens of times (LI Dragway, Atco, Englishtown). So yes, i am certainly qualified to comment with my OPINION on a product. Certainly one where all the websites that are not the company SELLING the product in question also claim that things like TBS's offer little to nothing on an otherwise stock truck.
I'm sorry you are overly sensitive to the fact that people may have a differing opinion then you. Instead of simply accepting the fact that someone else might not just blindly agree with you, you resort to name calling and personal attacks. That speaks volumes as to your character.

Commenting on a subject is one thing but you never state that this is your opinion on anything, unless you are chastising me about opinions. Yes you are right, I wont comment on effectiveness unless I know how effective something is, where you will state that something is ineffective, not in an opinion but as fact. So don't talk to me about opinions until you start adding to your comments that it's your opinion. Truck driver as part of your expert resume, guess you had plenty of time for those self help tapes as you were driving. I have no problem with someone disagreeing with my opinion as long as they are stating theirs...but you state everything as fact....never state as opinion, and as long and distinguished as your resume may be, you still are just one person with your idea as to what happens when air enters an engine

Then go ahead and ask the expert at MOES performance why they didn't put one on their record setting shop Truck..

Here IS a fact for you though. I have never seen a before and after dyno run sheet showing HP and Tourqe output before and after ONLY a TBS install posted by a third party (not a dealer or manufacturer). And i stand by my statement (which is my opinion) that a TBS is a total sham on these trucks. And until a see proof otherwise, that will remain my OPINION.
From 2 different companies that do custom tunes on f150s...."they are overpriced paperweights." (Had an f150 for 8 years and belong to f150online. Bought a ram in December tho)
I bought my 87mm from Moes and they use factory throttle bodies that are bored out. I've had one for 4yrs and never had any issues with warranty. It looks completely stock with Chryslers logo on it and everything. Unless they take the intake tube off and look real close chances are they won't notice.
IN MY OPINION i doubt it would show up on any history. Simply because a high flow throttle body doesn't function electrically any different then the factory unit. It simply flows more air. It's doubtful (again, my opinion) that the increased flow and in turn, potential power increase would register as suspect on a typical scan. But then again i am not certain just how deep they can look AND how well a typical service tech can decipher that info.
