2010 Front Bumper Rust
In the winter, when I wash the truck I tend to "rinse" it using the wax setting. Sure, it dries a little hazy if you don't rinse the wax off but it gets dirty right away anyway. It's not the best wax in the world but does spray into all the crevises you can't get to with hand applied wax and is better then nothing when it's too cold to do a proper job.
Glad they are coming good for a new bumper though... chrome ain't what it used to be.

Any tips on getting my (black) Ram really clean? I've been going to the car wash & spraying it down well with the rinse, then spraying the soap on, then rinsing again and then spraying with wax. But it never looks super clean after, I'm not sure if I just need to spend more time spraying it down or if I should spray it closer or what. I don't want to use the soap brush in case it scratches...
I never realized how clueless I am about the car wash...
You should be rinsing the wax off, otherwise it will dry to a haze. I know at my car wash, they have a step by step guide beside the controls. I do believe thought that the idea to rinse and then use spot free rinse afterwords is just a ploy to get more change. My procedure is to hit it to wash, quickly wet the whole truck down to start the dirt softening then go over the whole truck, panel by panel. First up and donw, then side to side to make sure I don't miss a spot. Then I rinse it off using the wax (not everytime, but much more frequently in winter), then hit it with the spot free rinse ( again, I leave the wax on in the winter quite often). Now, you may not have rinse and spot free depending on where you live, but our water is horribly hard and leaves nasty water spots if you don't use it.
If you do choose to use the soap brush, make sure you spray the hell out of it before you go at it. I have used it occasionally on the wifes van because some times it won't come clean without it. I always spray it down first to get it as clean as possible, then spray the brush and go at it. Although, in that case, a good wash at home would be best.

Yes I have had some major issues.First I had trouble with my paint then my motor blew at 7000 kms. I love the truck just don't like the way Chrysler is handling my problem.
Blew your motor?, that sucks!!!!, what kind of run around are you getting? I had a big run around back in 06 when my truck didn't come with what i ordered on it. They all love to take your money, but it can be a run around if you expect something back. Really pisses me off.
Rust on front and rear bumpers, prolly about 1/3 of what yours is... I've been to dealer, they say rock chips are not covered under warranty, and suggest i fix it before it gets worse... Then of course went on to try to get a body shop estimator to come out, in which i left... I may have to try another dealer... There's a previous thread about rust on here...
Mine is way worse now than the posted pic i have up. That is BS, your dealer should fight for you. Mine is! Im heading out for lunch right now. I will see if I can get another clearer pic with my phone. My rear bumper is fine. Your getting it on both bumpers are you?
