Default Bedrug & Truxedo installed pics!

Finally got the Bedrug installed, lots of felcro fasteners but the install went pretty easy. I had to cut slots for the tie downs in the 4 corners of the bed with a utility knife, about a 1.5 inch long slit gave a nice snug fit around them. Sure made installing the Truxedo comfy, you could definitely lay down and take a snooze on the Bedrug its that comfy.

Here's the Truxedo deployed, badass!

These are the Truxedo cam clamps you want, not those cheapo extruded clamps. Mine came with the cheap ones, in spite of my being very specific about the cam clamps. Truxedo shipped some cam clamps out to me no questions asked.

Looks good!

I like that truxedo. If you don't mind me asking, how much was the cover?

$476.10 with free shipping plus a free $75 cargo management system. Comes with 2 rachet style straps, some bungy cords, some cargo netting, a bunch of bedrail loops, and a nice zippered carrying case.

That looks great. Thanks for the pic of the cam clamps. Now that I see what they look like I am going to call them tomorrow and see if they will send me some. Nice work!

Looks awesome. I ordered the same bedrug. I will prbably get the same cover as well. Looks very easy to remove and slip back on.

Does anyone have a bed extender/divider that works with the bedrug that doesn't require drilling?

FYI on the cam clamps, I got an email from AutoAccessoriesGarage today. Truxedo is telling them the cam clamps are definitely discontinued and they need to update their web site with newer pics showing the bolt style clamps. Truxedo still has some cam clamps in stock but if you want them you should probably ask for them sooner than later.

I called Truxedo today and they said that they were discontinued a year and a half ago and not avaliable. I informed them that they were still pictured on their website and customer service put me on hold for about 5 mins. When she came back she said that they were able to come up with a set and were going to send them out. Like you said if you want them better call them sooner than later. I think they should bring the cam clamps back. Just the look of them with the cover open and the clamps visible makes a statement, it looks so much cleaner than the bolt on clamps. It makes a premium product that much better. In my decision to purchase a tonneau cover I considered the Extang Revolution and the Truxedo Lo Pro QT. Both great products with lifetime warranty. I liked the cam clamps and decided to go with Truxedo. When it came with the bolt on style I figured no big deal but you pic really made me change my mind.

Looks great man. if you dont mind me asking how much was that bedrug? also if i got a bedrug can it withstand the elements like rain, snow, and spills from gas tanks not to mention a muddy 4wheeler. Im still debating whether i should get a spray on liner or a bedrug.

The cam clamps are far superior in terms of looks and quality. Sure made installation easier since you can work them with one hand while holding up the rail. I remember trying to install my last Lo Pro with the bolt clamps, trying to hold up the rail while at the same time hold the clamp and work a wrench required 3 hands and acrobatics. If I was smarter back then I would have used a couple woodworking squeeze clamps to hold the rail in place while I put the bolt clamps on.

The cam clamps are larger, I never noticed the old clamps getting in my way ever so I don't see this being a problem, I'm just saying. You may have to give them 1 turn tighter/looser (they are adjustable) for best fit. If you can't close the clamp (use both hands and squeeze) back it off 1 turn until you can. I had to back all mine off 1 turn.
