Back Up camera questions

This is the cheapest I have found a back up camera kit for my Ram. Anyone found it cheaper anywhere. $248.17
Anyone purchased from dealer for cheaper? Who has installed one and how difficult for a less than average handy man? I did purchase the AllGig so I won't have to cut any wires. What are the advantages of having dealer install? If dealer installs will it then be covered under my warranty?

If you are going to use the AllGig, your install will be pretty easy, even for a less than handy person. I found the Mopar instructions pretty straight forward for the camera. Just make sure you wrap masking tape around the connectors on the end of the wire to keep them protected when you run it under the truck along the body harness. Its getting close to a year ago when I bought and installed mine, so I can't comment on the price intelligently, but it sounds about par. Someone might have found a better deal using ebay or something. Good luck and keep us posted want you end up doing.
I got mine from the dealer for $255 wholesale price. If I remember correctly, I think that site you linked to had high shipping costs. I opted to have the dealer install it along with the radio for $190 because they were going to charge $100 (1hr labor) to program it to the vehicle anyways and by letting dealer install it it becomes part of the vehicle warranty as if it came with it from factory, so that was worth the extra $90 bucks to me. I was also a little nervous about installing it myself because I have no electrical experience and the install requires splicing and soldering wires to the vehicle's brakelight wire or ecu. I also read about other people's install troubles and how long it took (one guy had the dealer install it and they had to call Chrysler tech support to get it to work) so I decided I'll tackle other tasks myself and leave this one to the dealer.

You do unless you have the allgig or lockpic. I chose the allgig. It works great.
I heard stereo may stop for few sec. some times...
Where do you get allgig? And do you have OEM camera?
