Default audio questions

I have the RER head unit with the Alpine speakers and amp setup. I was not pleased at all with this setup so I had some Vibe Space 6 components added up front and Memphis multisyncs in the rear with Memphis sub and amp in back. It sounds better now, but is still lacking due to the factory amd and the way its set up (no full range in front doors). All my speakers are being driven by factory amp besides the sub. I know VERY little about this so please bear with me. My questions are:

1. If I use another amp will I lose any functions of the RER? ( I read something abt turn info in EVIC not working, I might have misunderstood though)

2. If I go with aftermarket amp, will I be able to get full range from the front doors?

3. What kind of amp should I get? (how many channels) I would like to utilize all 9 speakers, do I need an amp with 9 channels?

4. I got a fox acoustics box under rear seat, box sounds good but fitament is not great on the 4th gen, is there any pre-made boxes that DO NOT require spacers to lift seat?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I have put alot of money (to me) into this and am still not pleased. Although I think it is my fault and I made a huge mistake in sticking with the factory amp.

Thanks

I have the RER and Fox box as well....i have the Alpine upgraded speakers also....all i did was add a 400.1 Kicker amp to the 2JL 10's i have in the box and it POUNDS!! I had an audio shop do the work. They just bypassed the factory sub amp and installed the Kicker with a line out converter.....sounds great to me and i didnt lose any function to my stereo or anything....You're right, the sub box sounds amazing, but the fitment is a little quirky!

I have the REN 6 speaker audio system. I like the sound but I plan on adding my own custom made fiberglass sub box. I am designing a box for a single 10 pioneer premier sub under the rear seat on the drivers side. I've made lots of sub boxes in the past, but this is my first try with fiberglass. I will add a pioneer amp to the factory head unit and see how it comes out. If it sounds decent, then I'll keep the REN unit(I like listing to the XM/Sirius radio) and swap out the factory 6x9's next. If the sound quality sucks then I'll have to start saving up for a new double din deck.

beware when swapping the 6x9's, the speakers are apparently super thin and replacements wont fit. you may have to do what i did and go with 6 1/2's with a 6x9 plate adapter.

Thanks for the replies and advice. I have decided to just order the Kicker upgrade for the front doors and dash. This is all just too much of a headache, I think I was oversold on speakers. It makes sense that they don't sound good cause they're so underpowered by the factory amp. I think the Kickers are better matched to the amp and will sound better. I'm not an audiophile by any means, I just want a better sound and some thump. Sooo........anyone in the market for some Vibe Space 6's????? I'm sure they sound great w the right amp.
