Possibly, they are cheap to buy a new set for sure. They seemed to work while in there though. Told the pressure of each tire. One of these days I will pick up a new set and have the guys toss them in.
No reason they woldn't work, the reason I refer to them as junk is that they hold the weight of the sensor with a flexible rubber stem rather than a good solid steel rod/steel nut (or aluminum) mounting.
Just had a thought, for those of us that are switching wheels winter to summer, is there anyway that we could install all four monitors into the spare tire. It might take some work but it would get rid of the light.

The standard trick is to install them into a PVC tube, cap both ends, inflate to the proper pressure and toss it under the back seat.
Or just buy a second set for 140 bucks..... cheap and way easier then checking tire pressure. At least for the guys who have the 4 pressures in the EVIC, just a low light sucks.
