Default Tire pressure sensors

I put after market wheels on the truck yesterday(boss 20" rims with hankook 275/55-20 Ventus st tires.) My new wheels don't have sensors in them but so far my light hasn't come on. I drove the truck around for awhile today and no light.I wonder if it will take a few days for the truck to realize the sensors arnt there? Any thoughts?

Mine realized in about 5 minutes. Popped up a message to check tire pressure monitors. Now, it goes to that message every time I start it up. Kinda annoying. There is no light though, just the message. 30 bucks a piece for new monitors, once I sell my stock rims I am picking up a set.

You must be the first person who has left them in rims you sold. Wow.

Are you sure that the shop didn't swap the sensors into the new wheels?

Or for a real laugh, are your old wheels and tires sitting in the bed of your truck?

The tire pressure monitors are built into the valve stem. They are not that easy to just swap over. They are not the band style.

And my dealer will sell them to me for that price. I think it was actually 34 bucks...

Huh? All you do to swap the stem style is to remove the nut from the stem.
