You saw a green light because there is one. The climate sensor is something completely different.

So TopGun how do I turn this green light on? Or when does it turn on? What's the purpose of it since it's right next to the two big standard dome lights?

Thanks!

for the second time, it illuminates the console. as in, not a bright light, but illumination so you can see the console. it comes on with your lights.

Again, it is not the one by the maplights. That is the sensor. The light is more to the rear just in front of your sunroof switch.

When it gets dark out, turn on your parking or headlights. Hold your hand up near the roof console and you will see the green light.
