Has anybody tried using VHT night shades to black out there taillight if so do you have a write up? I think after the exhaust that will be my next project.....

I did. Took a Dakota 4.7 HO QC 4x4, went from 2" to 2.25" after the cats, put in a Flowmaster Y collector, went to 3" there, stuck the Aero Chamber on there, no resonator, surprise, it resonated like hell at 1888 rpm, couldn't even hear yourself think. So I ended up putting the stock resonator back on. Didn't sound bad tho, just resonated without it, a bit louder at cruise without the resonator.

Thanks for the response I'm trying to see if anybody put one on a 4th gen with a 5.7 with resonators and cats.....But I guess I'll find out tomorrow cause I just finished pulling my stock exhaust out so I can bring it to the muffler shop tomorrow to get the pipes bent up.

Oldpianos - as for the other HOOKER I would not know cause I'm not into that sort of thing......LOL....I'm married an already pay for it.

its all dodge - the youtube post has a 3rd gen 5.7 with no cats and I think it sounds good so I hope mine ends up sounding similar.

If your wife is like my wife, she will appreciate a resonator on there! Some say it'll sound funky when it gets into 4 cyl mode with a diferant muffler
