Do not buy a tuner for MPGs, it will take WAY to long to get your money back.

besides the improved shifting is there a real noticable power difference? had the flashpak in my 05 and just left it in performance tune. truck felt a little snappier but dont know if there was a real power difference. plan on gettin the new tuner for my 09 just curious what to expect. this truck pulls harder than my 05, but not as quick off the line. cant figure that out since they both had 3.92 gears and new one has more power.

I would baby it at the exact speed limit on the mileage tune just to see the mpg's it gets. Currently I get about 16mpg city and 21.5 highway w/ the 91 octane tune w/ 89 octane gas (b/c that's the only thing I can find around me). I'm not having any problems (yet). I was wondering if everyone noticed a huge difference b/t the 93 and 91 performance modes?

I am interested in feedback from the 93 vs the 91 tune running that octane exactly(not a 91 on 89 etc.). I have 91 readily available to me but can drive a bit to get 93. I heard guys praise the 93 so Im gonna try it. To me getting the shift points was most important. The 5950 for 1-2 and 2-3 is perfect for my truck. Bear in mind that some hemis will react differently than others. I ran the SC recommended 6200-6100 shift points and didn't get good results. Shift lag and surge had me perplexed, so I listened to a friend of mine on the forum that ran 5950 for both 1-2 and 2-3 WOT. I was skeptical at first, but damn it pulls hard and the shift is seamless. Try it out for s**ts and giggles. I am so much happier now. If it isn't your trucks sweet spot change it around a little RPM at a time. You'll find the perfect shift eventually, dont settle for what someone tells you is the best, they dont have your truck!

it seems like the 5950 shift point is the sweet spot for a lot of trucks. I just changed mine to that and it runs great. I didn't put it on the 6200/6100 WOT shift points because I have not heard one person on here say that it works well. Gonna run this tank out and change tuning to 93 (with 93 octane this time).
