when you go to the dealer and they enter your info all rrt's that apply to your vehicle will come up

 

The number for the bolts is 10-009 I believe...anyway, mine finally got replaced today after several weeks on backorder.

 

They are not really on back order the dealers are only allowed to order the studs/bolts when you call to tell them you want it fixed. Its a voluntary recall you are not gonna get any paperwork on it I don't think. I called my dealer and they asked me do I want them to order the parts said yes, 3 weeks ago my wife is at dealer now getting the fuel saver light working I hope everyone in here pray right now for the Fuel Saver or better yet ECO with the graph.LOL. Stop prayer the fuel saver light WORKS!

 

I;ve decided to get the bolts done also. Parts had everything but the bolts. Dealer will call when they are in. I talked to them about the fuel saver light. Hopefully both can be done the same day.

 

Bolts are on back order, mine have been for 3 weeks or whenever it was it first heard about it. Been a while, they said they have 2 but we require 4? Whatever I think they keep some in case they break one. Cuz if what they said is true they only get shipped 4 at a time as people come in with the complaint. How did they wind up with 2? Oh Ran is correct 10-009 that is the number on my back order receipt.

 

I have a question to those of you who have lock pick and the nav2go or whatever the other one is called, when you go to the dealer do you remove them? Do they produce error codes at the dealer when they are installed? What would you do if there was and rrt for the radio would you remove the lockpick before going, probably for that one but what other things...a blown speaker? You see where I am going here? LOoks good in my mind LOL.

 

alright just called the local dealer in MI. he new about the rrt for the exhaust bolts. said they were back ordered big time, he would look into it. i mentioned to him i thought it took the customer asking about it, to get them etc. said he would call back.

said he would look into the evic flash after i gave him the number.....

 

Not all trucks need the bolts. It's not listed in my RRTs, late March 09 build.

 

Mine's an early March build and I needed them.
