L/R manifold gaskets #1

 

I have worked on and handled many many makes of autos in tears past and have never seen a gasket on manifold to head.Some replacement gasket 'kit' contain them.They usually were more prone to leakage then the metal to metal.Of course all 'aftermarket headers" use a gasket there.Really surprises me that there would be a gasket there.

 

I didn't put a gasket between my ram horn manifolds on my 72 chevy. Didn't come with any either. No leaks.
