I have the same 5C degre lower problem. It started after installing the ECO flash. Reverting to an older software version solves the problem. Downgrading from P/N 05172533AI to P/N 05172533AH will fix it (you will lose the Fuel Saver light)

Maybe the new flash actually has a more accurate temp reading?

I questioned this at first but my latest drives have only given a operating temp of 194F instead of the previous 205F. The OP states his scanner shows a different temp than his EVIC does which also goes along with your claim.

But if I have to choose between the 'Fuel Saver' light, which I got a year after purchase, or a temp reading 5C below true temp, I'll take the 'Fuel Saver' light.

I too would prefer the light over the accurate temp. But I'd still complain to Dodge.

I bet you are probably getting the correct temp now. I was told the TSB also fixes a few other bugs....no info on the bugs and I am not gonna ask sorry.

my mecanic said the same thing,but i will keep the ECO.the engine temp is lower but i dont know if the oil and trans temp are lower to, cant remember before.
