For what its worth, with the fold-a-cover I barely had any water get into my truck bed, whether driving or parked in my driveway. Must have been how I installed it... I don't know... Never mind tools in a tote, I kept soft sided luggage dry. I just wonder why so many are buying these covers if they don't do what they're supposed to?

When they shipped the cover they did not include spacers as they supposedly are not needed for the 2010. The leak I had seemed to be from the water overflowing the rails toward the inside of the bed so I called and asked for the spacers. I reinstalled the cover with the spacers in the hopes that they would tilt the rails to the outside more and solve the problem. It did seem to be better after a light rain and now I am waiting for heavy rain to see if it works. I knew going in that the cover would not be waterproof but expected it to perform better than it did. I hope adding the spacers will take care of the problem.

I purchased the cover because I liked the way it is designed to fit and work and the fact that there are no external locks. I don't regret the decision and am 90% happy with it. I hope the spacer fix will take care of the leak and get me to 100%.

Good luck. The install is a snap to do just make sure the rails are as far forward as you can get them. Be carefull with the two front screws, I put a slight dimple in the panel because I over tightened them. I hope they send the spacers with yours.

Purchased the Mopar folding cover and had the dealership install it.
I prefer these over the fixed flip up cover b/c it'll fold out of the way if you have a large item, and can open just one flap if you need to remove a small item out of the bed, and it's lockable.
No issues with leaks either. But I'd suspect any leaks from the Mopar folding cover could be attributed to a improper install.

Default mods for the week

I installed color keyed 3/4" body side molding to the doors this week. You can hardly notice it. I also put on the Extang Trifecta signature canvas look flip cover. Looks good brain dead to install. Easily removed. I wanted to get the Mopar glass cover but they are a pain if you need to carry anything tall so I went this route.

Do you have more info on that body side molding? Is it a Mopar part? What number? Any pics? My Sport doesn't have molding and I'm considering adding some but I didn't want the chrome stuff I see all over other models.

Thanks,
Rob

I only have one picture on the forum and no space left. How do I get more picture space?

Probably easier to set up your own photo hosting account with something like WebShots, Imageshack, or SmugMug.
