Check out the Bakflip F1. I was one of the guys who had a problem with the HD denting, but the F1 that they replaced mine with is much more durable.

I only get water coming in the sides of the tailgate. Last week I went to Montana and back, raining and snowing for 2000 miles. No leakage anywhere except what was coming in around the gate (Bed was full of stuff on the way back). Need to pick up a tailgate seal kit to fix that problem.

Check out the fold-a-cover. I had the LS on the back of my 08 quadcab and going through the carwash or in driving rain barely a drop of water in back. Only took a couple of hours to install it by myself. Looking to get the same cover again for my 2010 crewcab unless I find something significantly better for less money.

After reading about oldjeep's issues I had written off the bakflip. The F1 seems interesting though, might be a consideration along with the mopar/fold-a-cover. Please post some pics with your write up.

I've had the BakFlip F-1 for a few weeks. It fits the bed like a glove and has an attractive finish. Good thing you already know that they are NOT waterproof so you won't be disappointed. They will keep pretty dry while driving in rain but you will have problems when parked. Try to park on an incline so water can run to back of truck as this will assist in drainage so the water doesn't overflow the rails.0 So far seems to be a well constructed and secure cover.
