You've got the SAME Chrysler Corporate (AAM) 12 bolt, 31 spline rear end I do and I'm running 4.56s in my stock carrier!!!
What was the original quote and what did you get them down to?

4 Wheel Parts is like going to the dealership to buy a car, everything is at or close to list and the labor rates are through the roof for anybody naive enough to pay it. But they price match and the individual store managers can deal on the labor rate as well. It's an often talked about subject in Third Gen.
I think his original quote was for around $2200 for everything, and they ended up going down to about $1750 before tax. This was at the Jacksonville, Fl. location as my buddy lives up by my farmland in Georgia. I've got a local 4x4 shop here in Florida will do the gears, master install kit and labor for $600 an axle and if you buy the LSD at the same time from him, does not charge anything extra for the installation...

ESP on pulls power and prevents the tires from spinning, ESP off will allow the tires to spin but will apply the brake to the inside tire so both will start to spin. Your truck may not have a mechanical LSD but it does have an electronic version.
Would you or someone provide detailed information on how to disable the electronics on a RAM to do a burnout? Do you turn the key on, gas pedal to the floor one time and release and start truck, then place in drive and go? Is that it or what an I doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

While the truck is running just turn the key to the starting position and hold it there. All the electronics will shut off as long as you hold the key. Floor it while holding the key and all hell will break loose
