That sound right. I just had my truck flashed today and it now appears in the EVIC. Took them a bit to figure it out, but it is good to go!

Well I got my module yesterday, put it in myself in the dealer lot. I showed them these instructions to flash to make evic work. The bus would not pick it up and acitvate it. It said it was there but would not activate right. They call ed Dodge and appears they have made so it will not work. My mfg date is 3-10.

they said liability issue as someone had a problem and all trailer brakes locked. I wonder if htey just chnaged the program capability. The dealer tried very hard and I was htere the whole time they tried to program and talked to DOge tech asst.

ANy one else know anything else or a secret it took to program.

Did the controller work and just the EVIC would not upgrade? If that is the case it would function like an aftermarket one.. This is not good news, i just orderd my stuff and it is shipping right to my house... What should I look for do know if it works or not? I dont have a trailer yet to test it on ..

That doesn't sound right to me. The programming makes it just like they come from the factory. Can't see why it would would be more liability than if ordered that way.

My dealer could not find it using the instructions I took in. It would not show up, but he took the controller module number and searched for it, found it, and got it working. Took him a little longer then he thought, but it still is working now. Did it Wednesday morning. Shows in the EVIC now whenever I hit a button on it. Nice to not have to look down, just right in the dash.....

my dealer was in complete agreement with me on the should fuction part also. I would not have believed what Dodge help ;line told him if I had not herwd it myself. I would really like to get this to work too. If anyone has exactly what the process is to enter I would love to take to my dealer to do. It showed the Module but continuewd to error when tried to setup.

concur on the liability to.. lawyers get involved and all bets are off
