Guess the Dodge web site is slow in updating. when I searched using my vin, it says nothing is outstanding. Current seals are holding.

But yeah thought i'd throw that out there let people know about a recall.. once i get it done i'll post the recall number etc.
Man you must be a special customer or know the owner? I have never gotten a phone call for a recall. It comes in the mail a orange and white card usually.
No weepage on mine yet 10000 km, dry. Maybe mine won't be a recall I prefer it that way. If I get thru this winter without changing the studs, anticipating a long wait ,I don't think I will bother changing them, It is over a year old now there is no ticking when cold, hot, luke warm nothing. No HEMI tick, noise, just sounds like anyother engine upfront. I am glad it is a recall though that way if it does crack or something later I should be covered. knock wood

This is a recall?? Or an RRT? Seems more like a RRT issue. Recalls are usually only for items that can be a safety risk.

i dunno why i was so lucky to get a call from the dealer i really dont know the owner to be honest. maybe they liked the fact that i've sent over one chevy lover over to there dealership and they liked how i gave them more business cuz i was happy.. i sent him to the same sales rep too.. i'm just kindof wondering if there is going to be any problems.. they asked me if i had the 4x4 serviced and i lied and said yes and there gonna be dropping my axle oil. apparently its at 25k (km cuz i'm in canada) that you do the service but my book says 30k km so i dunno.

Ya I called today it is an RRT not a recall eventually people who don't come into forums and dont get dealer work done will cause it to become a recall. It is not a wheel seal it is the seal on the axle. 1 hour job is what it is slated for. Going in tomorrow to have it taken care of.
Oh ya and they have 3 studs in my name when they get the fourth they will get me in for the manifolds
