If they are staying on 10 minutes you have an issue to take to the dealer.

I think I noticed a pattern... If I drive in the garage and turn off the truck, then get out and shut the door the puddle lights go out very quickly (under 30 seconds). But if I just open the door to get something out and then shut it, they seem to stay on for a long time (over 5, under 10 min).

mine does the same thing. But if I hit the lock button on the fob they go out.

Make that three...mine does the same thing. If you close the doors once after shutting down its fine, but if you re-open any door they stay on for 10 minutes, and as noted if you hit either lock or unlock they will go out quickly.
Time for a trip to the dealer.

I'm not sure that's a problem. If they all behave like that I'm willing to live with it. 10 minutes of running a couple small LEDs is not going to drain the battery. My only concern was if mine was doing something different and/or staying on an indeterminate amount of time.

Thanks,
Rob

Sorry to dig up an old thread but I noticed this last night and I think its a bad idea for the puddle lights to stay on for 10min after accessing the truck and walking away. Basically the lights scream "unlocked" to any unsavory characters who might be in the area. I 'always' lock the truck but I don't want those puddle lights broadcasting that I forgot to lock the vehicle in case I forget
