Ram vs Tundra Face Off..
Raced my 2010 Ram hemi vs my brothers new 2010 Tundra I-Force. I handed him his *** tonight lol. I have a Diablo Tuner set to high octane, along with flowmaster exhaust system with 3.55 gearing. He has 4.36 gears with same size engine. We also did a 50mph punch, I again pulled away instantly. I had had some doubt as to whether I would be able to beat him off the line seeing his truck has higher gears and LSD to help aid in not burning out, but sure enough I took care of that myth. I am thoroughly impressed with the Ram's performance. I never owned such a complete truck that can keep up with the mustangs and tow with the big boys all while getting stares left and right.
Nice kill.
Also, did you run with the T/C on or off, ect?

Both trucks are 4x4 quad cabs. I did not take out traction control or take it out of Tow/Haul. I was cautious as possible off the line in order to avoid wasting time burning out. As you can all imagine with the result of the race, the arsenal of excuses are beginning to creep up from my brother. He claims his truck is heavier (only 400 lbs heavier), and that my truck has more horsepower plus a tuner (I have 9 hp over him factory plus maybe 10 out of chip).. But my retort to his arguement is that his truck has 4.30 gears, and if my dodge ran those kind of gear ratios then the race wouldn't have even been close off the line. I think it goes to show how underpowered the Tundra's motor is if it needs 4.30 gears just to stay close to the Hemi's power with 3.55 gears. In any event he refuses to acknowledge my argument. I think if his truck has 3.55 gears, it would most likely have motor response comparable to Ford's 5.4L V8.
Also, the Diablo is wonderful. My original purpose behind my purchase was purely to deactivate the MDS. Fortunately it also yielded me better throttle response, and more power throughout the spectrum while also recalibrating my speedometer for my new tires.
Thanks for comments!

Being a former tundra owner, But now a very happy ram owner I am a bit suprised because the seat of the pants feel you get with the 6 speed versues the 5 speed. That being said I've never had my ram at wot so I guess I'm not the right person to be making these comments.
