3.92 or 4.10
I haven't checked on shipping charges but I'm sure it will be shipped freight on a pallet. Shipping to a business or picking up at the trucking hub may cut the cost.
My '06s lift and wheels/tires were shipped freight and arrived on two different pallets by SAIA. They arrived at the hub on a Friday and weren't scheduled to be delivered until Monday. I jumped in the truck and drove an hour each way just so I could install over the weekend.

I suspect that during cruise at say 65-75mph you are getting MDS activation more often with the 4.10's. That's my theory but I have no way to verify it.
Yea, that ~$1,300 includes the entire assembly, gears, LSD, and everything. Not bad when the dealer wants ~$1,800 and then another $600-700 for an install. I want to save up and do the same thing.
Another option is to find a wrecked 2009 or 2010 RAM with the back end in good condition and see if you can pick that up for a good price. The service guys at the dealership I go to suggested that.

It might be a good idea to go to your dealer and test drive some trucks with the rear ends you are interested in. I would drive some with the 3.92 and the 4.10 to feel the response of each to choose the one that feels best for you.
