I just got a new truck 2010 Dodge Ram SLT from the auction with 1320miles on it and it has a salvage title and I was just wondering if the the warranty would still be existing incase of a mechanical problem or electrical?

just put my 09 with salvage title on the road. went in to local dealership, they did all recalls. did not do RRT's and no warranty at all!

Unless the state reports the vin to Chrysler (and I don't think they do), how would the dealer know?

 

I do beleive they do report it to Chrysler, or at least Car Fax which I am sure Chrysler does moniter

 

While on the subject of salvage vehicles, is there an online method to access the build sheet of a salvage vehicle by entering the VIN?

 

Nope - you need to request that from Dodge

So I can just take it in for the recalls? And what recalls does the truck have so far and should I take it in?

 

click on recall and customer satisfaction punch in your vin and see if you have any recalls to be done.
