How hard is it to change out?

Unless you have a mod friendly dealer or it's a total pain to change it, I'd say throw in the stock one to be safe. Can't take more than 5 minutes to swap, right?

why don't you just go to a quick stop oil change place? i buy my mobil one and filter at a store and then go to a quick stop they change it and charge like 20.00 bucks this way i know what oil and filter is on my truck none of that cheap stuff. and i don't have to worry about removing anything. my dealership said as long as i keep all the reciepts its not a problem.

Bingo. I know at least with mine Dodge sent me a coupon book for 12 free oil changes. My dealership has never said anything about the mods to my truck, and I've got just about everything other than a CAI.

I had one on my Durango and they did not care. Just asked if it helped for mileage. Almost had it sold to one of the kids there untill I told him how much it cost. I paid over 400 in 03 for the KN cai and got worse mileage. They are all crap unless you wanna spend a fortune on other things that require more air, like a cam, exhaust, tuner.

The dealership keeps sending me free oil change coupons in the mail and wifey keeps bugging me to use them. I would use them on her car but its only for my truck...I dont think they will say anything so we'll see what happens. Its easy to swap out, but dont want my truck to like go into shock from the constant swapping.
