Did you go 85mm mod or 87mm mod? I see that Modern Muscle offers both.

I do have an increase in mpg. I drive the same route and the last two days I have been in the 15 to 15.7 mpg range for city driiving. I'll know better when the tank is finished. Power wise the truck is definitely quicker off the line, a bit less drag.

What's the advantage of increasing the size of the Throttle Body rather than just adding a spacer?

I have noticed that the engine just runs better, smoother, and slight power increase with the TB change. The biggest change I noticed was how smooth the engine runs from idle on up. Its hard to describe, but you will notice a change. I have had it on the truck for 12K miles now and no problems with it at all.

Spacers do nothing on port or direct injected engines. Only on Throttle body or carbed engines.I used a Fastman on my 1998 318 SLT.$350? I dunno but he dosen't give them away. Its a exchange unit.Go to his site and price one.

$212 from Fast Man Dan. he has some really good stuff. Plus he answers the phone when you call, so you actually speak to the person who is doing the work.

I have used Fastman's TB's in the past and they are very good. I would recommend them also. Modern Muscle uses a different technique than Fastman and I tought I would try it on the hemi. To me it seems to be a better design, but I am no engineer.
