Intermittent Sirius signal
Well, it seems that all the replies pretty much confirm my thought: That it's not just me - maybe a design / antenna issue?
So... since dealers pretty much don't care once you drive it off their lot, what is our recourse - if anything?
Contact "Mother Dodge" directly?
Anyone have any ideas?

Satalite TV cuts out every time it storms, not sure why you would think that intermittant drop outs in a moving vehicle would be odd. You could try some sort of booster antennae, but the reality is that anything coming from a satalite - phone, radio, TV is succeptable to line of sight interferance.
The Dodge satellite antenna on this ram is ****!
The only time mine drops the signal is when I pull out of the garage, other than that I don't seem to be having the problems that you guys are having, even today it is storming like crazy and never drop the signal once.

My point is: My little commuter car with the Sportster / antenna kit (little magnetic antenna on the roof) works just fine and never cuts out.
My new Ram, on the other hand cuts out. I'm talking about the same exact road / daytime or nighttime / good weather or bad / etc etc.
Why does one antenna seem to work perfectly (the add-on to my commuter car), but the antenna 'built-in' to my 'new' truck doesn't?
Ie - I think it may be an error in design... Would like to get it fixed.... and am wondering if others have the same problem?
Might be a non-flat antennae that you could mount in the same location. I suspect that they use flat ones so that you don't rip them off driving into the garage.
Mine is the center on the back of the cab, and only within the last few days, mine has started cutting out. I have seen mine cut out under wooded areas, but driving down the highway or in my driveway and the weather is clear. Any others having this recent issue?
