I wouldn't try to lift the rear at all... just 'toughen' it up a little bit with air bags, or those helper bags people put inside their coils. I'd just do a little bit in the front 1 ~ 1-1/2", it'd get rid of some of the rake unloaded. Then when you load down the rear you wouldn't be tail high... and your 4wd would still be useful. Your situation probably less lift would be better. If you did 2-1/2" in the front... after you load down the rear the front would creep up to around 3", that's pretty high for the factory CV's.

Question... for those of you have just a front 2" or 2.5" leveling kit and inner spring air bag helpers, is there much sag when loaded or hauling a trailer? Looking at the Firestone directions, it lists to drive around with 5lbs in it with a max of 35lbs loaded. I do not have TRX4 model so I can find a ton of options on my sport 4x4 and probably going with the Mopar or Superlift kit. Going to be pulling a 4 place snowmobile trailer at about 5,000+lbs loaded and a pin weight of maybe 500-600lbs plus a fiberglass cap at 200lbs. I just want to make sure when I go with the level kit/air bag setup I'm not drving around nose high. Is the up to 35lbs of air pressure going to be enough when towing?

Check this thread for info about ride heights. I posted some about the ~9000# trailer I recently pulled.

I have no leveling kit.

Thanks Rob, I was searching the forum looking for "Air Bag" and not the offical name...

Great review. Sounds pretty close to the trailer I'm looking at buying. I'm at 30ft total with the V, 3200lbs empty, 7.5ft wide, and 20" off the ground. I wish I could get the pics to work here at work. I'll check at home.
