Default Leaky Mirrors

Has anybody had a problem with the light bar on the underside of their mirrors filling up with water. i just noticed the other day that the lights on the driver side door didnt come on when i unlocked the doors and you can see a pool of water built up in there. the turn signals and everything are obviously shorted out in there and what not. gotta go to the dealer this week to get the tailgate cap replaced cause all the clips broke that hold it down broke...AGAIN. cheap plastic crap. so i ll get them to look at it then. just curious if anybody else had that problem.

I have, and not happy (the only thing I am not happy about). I had mine replaced early this year and I noticed my drivers side is wet again. I am waiting until 35Kish before going back for new again. Also going to have them document the multiople occurance issue so later I may be able to squeeze Dodge for another set as I have a feeling it will happen again. If you search my posts for puddle lights you will see where I took mine apart and found a vent hole, I think that is the issue. I have a feeling washing causes it if not careful, but I was this time around and still have water.

Me too. Only mine are just foggy, not filled with water. I already contacted the dealer. Figure when I get it fixed I'll just drill a hole in the bottom of the lens to let the water out. Also going to fix my tailgate crap. AGAIN as well. You would think a vendor would make some nice replacement ones that BOLT on.
