Default Notification K17

I got a notification from Chrysler abt HVAC problems with my '09 1500 truck. It said call the dealer an make arrangements to bring it in and update the control head software and if needed, replace mode door actuators.
I haven't had any problems yet.
Have any of you guys had any problems?

I had a recall back in Sept 2009 for reprograming the HVAC which I had done. Now I have gotten notice on the K17. Wonder if Dodge did another program update or did the dealership not report that they had done it. I'm waiting till I need an oil change and will take the vehicle in then.

I received this notice last weekend, taking it Friday to get done as well as a couple other things. Been driving back on the stock tune this week and of course this MDS is now enabled, what a difference in performance - or lack of....

Received my K17 notice yesterday in the mail. Second recall on this truck since I bought it in Jan 2010.

Default Got mine too

I just got mine in the mail yesterday. I had an oil change scheduled for today and they said they would look at it and it should take no time at all. They did tell me that if they had to replace anything, that they might need the truck for 4 more hours.

It's a deal about the HVAC blend doors. The computer is closing them too hard causing them to break. If they aren't broken, it's a simple flash to the PCM and you're on your way, but if they are broken, then it will take them an extra few minutes to replace.
