No answer for you but don't feel bad you're not alone and it's not just the iphone4. I hope Uconnect does somethimg about the compatability problems some day.

Default iphone uconnect

I dont know why you are having problems, my Iphone 4 synced and works as well as my last phone, but I have a 2009 Ram. It hasn't been jailbroken and runs 4.01, I think.

I bet you havent turned bluetooth "on"

I experienced a similar problem. Generally the phones are set with this feature off. You probably only temporarily let it find the phone when you did your uconnect setup. But, since its turned off...you get the drift.

Call the following number: 877-855-8400. They will tell you if your phone is on their list of supported phones. I called because my HTC Droid Eris wouldn't pair, and it's because it ain't on the list. The guy did say that they update all the time, so if your phone isn't on it now, it might be on it tomorrow, next week, or in a month.

I hated that phone, so I went ahead and reactivated my old Blackberry 8330. It paired, and it works, but the sound is scratchy as all hell. Anybody else have this problem?

Just got my new iPhone4 for Verizon and I can connect it, but wont hear anything through uConnect. Look like uConnect supports iPhone 3G and 3GS only..

iPhone 4 has been working since I bought it 6months ago. Occasionally there's a problem and it flips over to u-connect. Overall it seems to work well. It's not your phone.
