Default Plug Change, now engine light on in dash

Just changed the plugs in the HEMI and now I have the little engine light on in the dash. What should I be looking for. The change went well, nothing stuck or hard to get off. Scrathing my head on this one.

Thanks
Eslund

First make sure you plugged back in the sensor that is on the intake tube and if that isn't it then take it in to the dealer or an auto parts store with a code reader.

Sensor is plugged in, made sure of that. Funny thing is that the engine runs smooth with no roughness so I wouldn't think that is an unseated coil pack or anything like that.

It could be something totally unrelated to the plug change. I would just get the code read, and then you will know for sure whats up.

If all the coils are seated correctly, then I would think your next step is to reset the PCM and see if the light goes away. It might just be that they are getting a new reading that it doesn't know to account for.

Those plugs are probably the reason the light came on. Hopefully resetting the computer keeps the light off but I wouldn't count on it

Wow! And here I've been waiting for NGK to get their act together and get out their double platinum plugs for months now. Called their tech support and was told, "we have a part no., just not a stock no., so that means they should be out in a month or so...". Yeah, that was like 2 1/2 months ago, and they still aren't out. Screw waiting, I'm already past due on the plug change by 15K, I'm gonna go Iridium too. Any thoughts to down sides?? Any thoughts in general? Should I be aware of something? Only difference I see between the Autolite and NGK is the gap, .045 and .044, respectively. Let me know if the code keeps getting thrown...

- Thanks
