Default Help with headlight swap.

I remember faintly someone posting a DIY post on removing the headlights for the placement of their HIDs. I'm not having any luck finding that post, anyone have any clue who it was or where the post was? I'm trying to see what I can tap into to activate the LED's in the new Recon projector headlights that I bought. Need a positive and ground that aren't always on, that are in the general area. I'm guessing the design of these headlamps were to always have the LED's on. That's one thing I am unclear on.

I would also like to see what they look like installed and what kind of bulb did you put in them for the headlights.

I finally went and put them on, they look great and i love them, i wired the halos and leds with parking lights. once theyre installed you just have to adjust the low and high beams to your likings. overall the lowbeams are pretty much just as bright as stock but highbeams are much brighter.

Can you install a dual bulb headlight setup in a stock single bulb headlight?

No the housings are different but with a housing swap and rewire I would think you should be able to.

What if you are taking the stock headlight housing from a dual bulb 2010 to a 2009 single bulb? Is the housing not the same?
