Guys how bad is the rust on the bumpers you are having replaced I have had a few spots on the front but one that comes pops up every week or 2 after I polish it and it is fairly small but I am really concerned what will happen in 5 years. My 1997 F150 I traded in had less corrosion then this truck!

mine was about the same, 3 weeks later the spots return and I gotta polish it again. The kicker for me was when the front bumper got this huge swath of it from the fog light down, that was enough for me.

Time will tell if these are any better.

My dealer gladly replaced the front bumper on my 09 because of rust spots. It was only six months old at the time. This October, I received a recall notice from Chrysler informing me there was a recall on the replacement bumper. There was nothing wrong with the second bumper but they replaced it anyway. So, now I'm on my third bumper. Hopefully they improved the chroming process.
