Do a search for JJ retro lighting on here, he will tell you what you need. He also builds/retro`s headlights for these 4th gen trucks... he`s the best in the business.
Just my opinion, you DONT want 8,000K bulbs, you`ll hate them. Stick with 4,500K to 5,500K, much better lighting. The higher the "K" (kelvins) dosent meen better.

I appreciate the recommendation. I'll check him out. I'm going for a blue tint to them. the truck is black and I already put blue bulbs in the clear housing on the roof. they're pretty much clear with a hint of blue. I'm going for the same effect in headlights. do you think maybe in the 7000s would be better?

A proper retrofit with 5000k at most is best. Anything higher and your losing light.

I am in canada and we have DRL (daytime running lights). And to make it even more complicated during the day when you use your signals the drl side with the signal on goes out until the singal is turned off. Makes this a canbus mess. Anyonme know the correct way to install HID H13 setup in this truck?? 2011 Ram 1500 with H13. I know I have to use resistors. But can I useral hi lo H13 zenon or do I have to use a H13 with xenon low and halogen high bulb ??
