Default Mopar Molded Splash Guards

Anyone with a silver 4th Gen have these molded Mopar splash guards? I see they come in black or dark grey. I like the look of them and the functionality. A couple friends with 4th Gens have them but their Rams are black and dark grey. They feel that they perform excellently and I can get a good deal from my local dealer. I just don't know how they will look on the silver. I am afraid I am gonna get them installed and they will stick out like a sore thumb. Anyone with these, on silver or even white, if you could post some pics that'd be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

paint them or have them painted... i sprayed mine with mopar spray paint. didnt think black flaps on an orange sport would look good.... they started chipping after about 6 months so im going to get them painted at a body shop... my dads painted mud flaps i had done at the dealer never chipped even after 5 years

Where did you get the idea they come in two colors? At least back in the June timeframe I only ever saw one color when I was researching them.

I honestly can't remember where I saw it. I was browsing websites looking for pictures of them on a silver ram and came across a list of mopar accessories. It had two options: molded black with or without Rams head logo and molded dark grey with or without Rams head logo. The only reason it stuck in my head is because I didn't know there was an option either. Maybe I didn't read far enough into it since I was only looking for pictures at the time. I just tried to find the site again with no luck. Maybe they weren't genuine mopar....although I would imagine that would be some type of trademark infringement with the Rams head logo on it.

Make sure you put some double sided foam tape between the flaps and the paint on your truck... CarGuyOhio warned me about this when I got the ram, and sure enough, after about 3,000 miles they had moved around enough to cause some wear on the paint.

I had my ScotchCal installer put that under the splashguards to protect the paint. Either way, it is a good idea to do something.

I put them on my 2011, sorry I did, the snow is here and they hold the snow real good. I'll see how it goes but I think I will go back to the flat flexible ones with chrome on the bottom.
