Discount Tire
[quote=JoesBrotherRamMan;2347657]I don't know about you guys but around here, we have two reputable tire shops (Town Fair Tire, and VIP) that will beat all internet pricing, which is great because once they beat it they also include free lifetime balance, rotations, snow tire and tire dismounts, and alignments with a purchase of 4 tires.. Seems like a no-brainer to me.. My brother had VIP beat Discount Tire at $300 a piece for (4) 305/65/18 BFG A/T's, which retail for over $500 a piece. He now has all of those goodies I mentioned above for life of the tire. So yes, Discount Tire is amazing, but I only find them as useful as the local shops that are willing price match them. Again, you guys should ask around your different tire shops to see if their willing to be competitive to the internet, its sure worth a shot!
I'm sure your shop is very good but here is the deal. If your shop gives you that quote, you can take it to Discount Tire and they will match it. Discount Tire isn't just on the internet, there are 2 of them within 5 miles of my house.
One time I had to buy a tire just to make it home about 600 miles away because I hit a pot hole on the interstate. The only people in the Kansas City area that had the right size was NTB (National Tire and Battery?). It cost me something like $100 using my brother-in-laws dealer rebate. When I got back home, Discount Tire paid me my money back and took that tire, put a new tire on for free that matched the other 3, and then I had to pay the $13 to insure the new tire. Now that is a stand up place that buys a tire back from you that you didn't even purchase from them and they were more than happy to do it, just because they believe in taking care of the customer.

Around here, Discount tire will match any price, even off the internet. Just take 'em the details printed from your computer...... And, they can get 'em faster than you can off the net.......
I've used them several times and had no issues. I bought my wife's last set of tires there. Customer service at the time was great, and the price couldn't be beat, and I tried. Two years later I took her car in with the same set of tires, they rotated them, balances them, and filled them with air absolutely free.
Last year, a week after buying my RAM, I shredded a tire. Damn border agents wouldn't let me pull over and change it when I picked up a nail one hot summer day. They made me limp past the check point and change it there. By the time I got it off, it was shredded. When I got home, did a comparision online and a chain had the Goodyear about $30 cheaper than Discount. I told them which company, they looked it up online and matched the price right there.
When I finally save up for the SRT rims, Discount Tire is who I'm going to. I might shop around for prices, just to see if I can find a cheaper price, but in the end Discount will be where I'm buying them from.

Sure, as will every other tire store in the country.
Mounting and balancing is mostly profit.
