Haha. Yes it is supposed to be a 115v ac, not 12v dc. It is common for Dodges to have this, and it is apart of the package, I just didnt get it.

re: 115volt A/C outlet
Is it listed on your window sticker that its supposed to be there...????
(alot depends on the "dealer order code" if it was ordered with it or not)

Yep. I looked at the window sticker like 4 times to re-check it. The window sticker says that i should also have a "floor mounted automatic shift lever", which I take as a full center console, with the shifter in that, as opposed to the column shifter.... I might be wrong on that... but that is what i think. and i dont have that either. as well as the rear 60/40 split seat. i have a solid rear bench...... a whole bunch of effed up stuff on this truck

The floor mounted shifter is the center console, and that costs extra...

Left side of the sticker is base equipment, right side is what is actually on the truck. If the preferred package on the right side does not have it, it wont be on the truck.

I have an Outdoorsman...it's a 2500, but the packages are nearly the same between the 1500 and 2500. The Outdoorsman package is customer preferred package 26T on the 2500...may be a different name for the 1500, but again...the packages are nearly identical.

On the seat/center console: When I ordered mine, the 40/20/40 split bench seat was standard, but the bucket seats with the center console were a no-cost option that I selected. I'm pretty sure the 1500 Outdoorsman is the same in this regard. My window sticker shows package 26T with 40/20/40 split bench seats, and nowhere under optional equipment does it say anything about the buckets. But looking in the upper left, below the base price box and above standard equipment, there's a line that says "Interior: Premium Cloth Power Bucket Seat." If your window sticker says 40/20/40 split bench in that line, then you have the correct interior seating and should not have the center console.

On the power outlet: That should be listed under optional equipment, part of the Outdoorsman package. Mine has it listed and is on the truck. I don't recall having to select that when I ordered.

Dodge's site is pretty bad in terms of being able to exactly determine what is standard and what's not, but their brochures all have info in the back. The 2011 complete Ram brochure isn't online yet, so I'd grab one from the dealership and verify exactly what is supposed to be on your truck.

You should be able to get whatever is on your window sticker added back in if it's not there. I had floor mats missing on one vehicle that showed as being standard on the window sticker, brought it to the attention of the dealership, and they gave me a set right on the spot. Granted a power outlet is a little tougher to do than a set of floor mats, but it should be do-able.

One other thing: I'd check the VIN on the window sticker against the VIN on the truck, and also bounce that off your sales paperwork. You may not have the right window sticker, and if that's the case, your sales paperwork may not match what's actually in your driveway. Sounds crazy, but I'd definitely check it to make sure.

That's EXACTLY what I was thinking...

Can you post a GOOD clear complete picture of your window sticker and some interior/exterior pics of your truck on here..?
Maybe if we see it, some of us might be able to help you out a lil better.
More sets of eyes might see something different as to why your truck is the way that it is.

IF, you have the correct window sticker for the truck, (check VIN of both truck and w/sticker) and it says whats supposed to be on the truck and its not there, the dealer has to make good with EVERYTING thats on that window sticker. If not, then they will be a deep do-do smelly poop bigtime. That would fall under "misrepresentation" of a sale if your w/sticker dosent match the truck. Also keep in mind, that its very hard to prove in court if they switched w/stickers just to mis-lead you into a sale.

The pure excitment when buying a new vehicle can really boggle ones mind,
i`ve been guilty of that many times, BUT, do your homework before beatin the dealer up over it.
Always, remember that being nice will take to ALOT farther until its time NOT to be nice.

IS it on the window sticker? If it isn't on the window sticker, it isn't included!
