Thats a no brainer dude,
ther`s alot of people that dont even look at a window sticker that carefully. Alot of times, they are so taken by the momment when lookin at these new 4th gen dodge trucks that they forget to even look at the little things.

Some dealers will even take the w/stkr off and stuff them in the glovebox (or throw them out) and the customer never see`s it and is not aware of what the vehicle is even supposed to have vs not have, when they buy the vehicle.

I`ve had simular momments (but not had anything missing like this guy has) when buying brand new vehicles, that i didnt even notice some items on the sticker until i got the vehicle home and looked over the w/stkr and the vehicle more closely. Some of these dealers are really to fast at gettin you on your way before you`ve really had a chance to really go over everything 100%. (they got the sale, thats all they fuggin care about) I myself try to be real careful not to miss anything, cause after you sign on the line, its over. Hopefully this guy has a dealership that will be up front and take care of him.

All in all, we dont expect shiit to be missing if the w/stkr says it came with the vehicle, so i can easily see why this got by him until later on when he discovered it with the w/stkr vs actual truck options that it was supposed to be there, and its not, now.

Ever heard of this happening...????? True Story...!!!!!!!
I worked at a dealership years ago, and the dealership owner would take the window stickers off so that they could rob stuff from one vehicle to put it on another vehicle just to get a sale. A customer would never be able to tell what the vehicle actually came with back then, unlike today, it can be tracked. As far as i know today, that is definatley ILLEGAL to do that and to also remove the window sticker before the sale of that vehicle. And NO, that dealership has been long gone out of business since getting caught up with. I hope thats NOT the case with this poor guy.

Of the trucks that I have researched, it is located in the dash, below the radio slightly towards the passenger side. On my truck, there is just a hole there for storage.... WTF? even my window sticker says i have it. Any help???
MOOSEFIRE,
let the dealer see your window sticker, BUT DO NOT LET THEM KEEP IT...!
As a matter of fact, DO NOT let it leave your hands...!
I would make a "copy" of it and only let them have a copied version of it.
I wouldnt even take the original one to the dealership. They can actually obtain one from the manufactuer by fax, or go on their dealer network and look at your specific window sticker from there.

I know of a dealer that kept a window sticker and on purpose lost it and the customer had no evidence to back up their story...!
Dont let this happen to you...!!!!!

Get to your stealership ASAP, and keep us up to date how you made out.
I wouldnt let them cheese out on you by giving you oil changes for the difference either, i would WANT those items rightfully installed how the truck was supposed to be in the first place.

no offense but if you have the 40/20/40 bench front seat then how can you have the floor shifter. I thought the floor shifter was only for the bucket seats with the center console. But i also would take it back to the dealer and go through the window sticker with them.

I honestly have no idea. Im sure, as stated earlier by someone, that I have a different interior based upon standard options, which is probably why I do not have the floor shifter. Not sure about the rest of the stuff though.

Check the Vin# on the window sticker against the vin on your truck.

On the sticker, the selected options (on the right side ) overtake the standard options on the left side of the sticker.

I did verify the VIN from the w-sticker to my truck. It does match up.

But I do need to take it back in. I thought exactly what you just said about how the optional equipment overrides the standard equipment. Which means that I am out about 4 or 5 things on the options. Damn Chrysler.

YES, ANYTHING on the options (right) column over-rides anything in the standard equipment column and you need to have any such items installed for no charge, in a timely manner by the dealer. I wouldn't accept anything less...

If you send me the last 8 of your VIN I can look on dealerconnect to see what's listed for your vehicle options on there

My last 8 numbers are "BS540774"

Thanks a ton man. I appreciate the offer to do that for me. It really helps when I go to the Dealership.

Don't blame Chrysler (unless it was a build f-up), blame the idiot at the dealer that ordered it that way. I don't know who in their right mind would override packaged options like that.
