Caliper is 3/36.Thats what got the pad/rotor. The chance of a defective pad is slim to none. Its the car manufacture saying you wear it out in that short of mileage its yours.

well thanks for the feedback. so after a major fiasco with the truck getting towed to wrong dealership who tried to screw me (no one in jersey should ever ever even send their worst enemy to freehold chrysler/jeep) and getting truck down to my friends at freehold dodge they are replacing the caliper under waranty and we made a deal on the pads/rotor. the brakes were pretty worn down anyway so i cant blame them on that and i knew they were really only covered under the 12/12.

Hope you made a good deal on pads, rotor. The ROTOR should be covered. Its a 3/36 if damage is not from NORMAL wear.Pads are questionable at your mileage. The point being that the caliper caused the damage and if the way of doings haven't changed a lot in the last few years the service manager approved replacing the damaged items.Any way you really ought to pay at worst for pads.Work it best you can.

If you have a gold extended warranty I believe it picks up some parts of the brake system, but not pads for sure.
