Depends on the person/tech. I once had a tech that years before did auto glass installs. He'd pull a windshield as quick as a side glass or a spark plug. But as rule the glass company is the way to go on urethane installed glass.

Smoke Machine...???????????

We always used compressed air inside the vehicle, (extra person inside w/airhose)
spray soap/water solution around outside of glass, look for soap bubbles.
Kinda the same effect tire guys use to find leaks in tires.

Smoke machine dosen't require water, hose, two people etc. Newer technology then soap and water.

Ya the smoke he said won't leave a smell or anything. He said I won't even notice it. And I didn't. I have had the truck for 4 days and I can't tell... Although I need to call the dealership to see what they decided to do about everything!

update. I stopped by the dealership today after work. IF you remember they asked me to give them a couple days to figure out what they want to do.

So the owner was there. She is the lady who took 6 months to get me the paper work for a bad CPU in the spring. I don't like dealing with her.

She said that she still has some research to do on the problem so she's not ready to get it fixed. She also said that the dealership would fix it and not pay someone else to. AND, she said she doesn't want to fix it until its warmer out. It has been -34 all week here so I can kind of understand. Their shop is busy becausde of the problems the cold can cuase. So I said I was ok with waiting. She saiid "we'd like to wait until sometime in the spring".. I said "well it only leaks when its above zero or if I take it to the car wash, so I can wait a bit, but I don't want to wait 2 months to get it fixed... " she said "well it will be easier when its warmer." So I said "I'll stop by when its warmer than". I am stopping by next week if it warms up to -10 or so. I am not waiting 2 months until its spring up here.

If she doesn't fix it in a few weeks when it warms up, I'm calling chrysler Canada.

I am calling them anyways, but like I said I want to wait until I see how they handle this before I call. Because if its not done right, its just another issue I will talk to chrysler canada about.

still p*ssed...
