Truck (CA) renewal cost!!

Hi All:
Here in Pahrump, Nevada, 60 miles north west of Las Vegas, we just paid $434.00 for the renewal going from March 2011 thru March 2012. This is for my 2009 1500 Ram. Nevada is one of the states that is hurting for money, so we suffer with fees going up every year insted of going down. One of the good things here is we do not have a state income tax.

To renew our tags here in AR its $27.75, I pay another $28 on top of that because I have a vanity plate. No emissions checks here. Now we have to pay property taxes annually on our our cars here, but for my 3 cars its still only about $400. Glad I don't live in Cali anymore!

Just renewed the registration on my 2010 1500 TRX4 (have had it one year now). Cost was $620!!! Can't believe the price of living in Calif...... And with all the taxes we pay, the idiots in Sacramento still spend more than they collect. Enough of my rant. What you guys paying to renew registration in other states?
