Have you tried comparing the two on the Ram website where you can build a truck to how you like it? That will tell almost all. That plus the input from those who have those trucks here should set you right up.

Well hopefully I will have a 2011 1500 sport by the end of the weekend.

I have to decide on Deep cherry or Deep blue water. They are both nice colours.

I think i am going with a soft tonneau cover $500 as a roller tra is 1500 dollars installed.

Anyone put on bug deflectors and if so what kind?

Thanks
Sudsy

I just bought a 2011 Laramie 2 weeks ago and love it. I had to choose between it and the sport. I really really liked the sport especially because the one I was looking at had the optional sport hood and that thing just looks "mean as hell". You'll like either one though, it is a great truck. Also, I ended up with the Deep Cherry Red and I can't tell you how many people have commented how nice the color was but I probably would have gone with the Deep Blue if that choice was available.

My choice is the sport. (its the ONLY choice...!!!...lol)
With the sport you dont have to deal with rusty bumpers in 6 months after the purchase
The sport interior is superior over the bighorn, but thats just my opinion
The sport also has quad healights, i believe the bighorn only has dual headlamps
Speakin of duals, the sport comes with dual tailpipes too, throatier sounding exhaust
Any color on the sport is a sharp lookin truck, but i WILL have to say that the cherry red is S-W-E-E-E-E--E-E-E-T
Had they offered it in 2010, i would have concidered it very much...! (i bought the brilliant black, very hard to keep it clean)

Whatever you buy, ENJOY...!!!!!!

While I do love the look of the Sport, I've got a Bighorn.. I ended up with around $8k in rebates when I got mine, so that's what made my decision. The only differences I could see between mine and the sport was the interior (dash materials) and the color keyed features (bumpers, door handles, etc). Mine came with 3.92 gears, dual tailpipes through the bumper, bucket seats, quad headlights... As far as I could tell, the difference came down to whether or not you like chrome... And I've had mine since Nov '09 and haven't seen any rust, although I'm in Tennessee and they don't heavily salt the roads here.. The RAM website makes it a pain in the butt to try to do a direct comparison of the different trims...

I hear ya brother....
It really does come down to money for sure. Dodge DOES have the best bang for the buck though.
My first 2010 hemi ram truck had chrome bumbers, BOTH front and rear bumpers rusted before it was 6 months old, so i traded it back in for a hemi qc sport 4x4 fully loaded with every option available except the sunroof. (i hate sunroofs...!) I special ordered it that way with everything. Now i wish i hadnt bought it, gas prices are headin for $5 bucks a gallon now. Right now here in NY, we`re already hittin close to $4 bucks a gallon and i drive 2hrs back an forth to work everyday...rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

the sport on the lot is 35,000 after rebates. No running boards or box liner.

If i want the 121 liter gas tank along with running boards and box liner they would have to order it in and it takes 90 days to come from Dodge.

Anyone have the smaller gas tank and wish they had the larger one?

Do you think it would be cheaper to buy running boards and box liner from some place else?

Thanks for the help i really like this site.

Laramie and sport were about the same price. However, DW HATED the fake woodgrain on the door panels.
So Sport it was!
