The sport comes with color matched grill/bumper/mirrors and has optional leather seats and performance hood. Probably a few other things as well.

They are both nice but I liked the monotone coloring on the Sport as well as the interior with the padded and stitched dash and padded door panels. My F150's always had hard plastic door panels and dash and I noticed this as soon as I sat in the 4th gen Ram. And I even like the plastic chrome clad rims, 2+ years later and they still look brand new after washing..

Hi

Just tried out 2011 sport deep cherry. That is one sharp looking truck.

It does not come with running boards or boxliner. I will need running boards for sur as those 20inch wheels make it a little hard for me to get into and out of the truck.

What kind of box liner did you get, sprayin or drop in kind?
Is it cheaper to buy these things from dealer and have them install or buy elsewhere?

Thanks
Sudsy

Go for spray-in for sure. A drop in can trap water under it or even worse dirt/sand and eventually it'll grind your paint off. I recommend getting it sprayed with Line-X.. it's awesome!

$450 from Dodge; $550 from dealer (for spray in box liner).

I had a spray in liner in my 2500. I have the plastic liner in this 1500. One big difference is in the ability to slide things in the bed. With the spray liner it is hard to slide stuff in. Very tacky/sticky/friction type feel. With the plastic you can slide things in and out easily. So things like an engine or heavy parts going into the bed are going to be tough to move around. Things that you don't want to move around are going to stay in place. If your loading gravel and such then a spray in would be best. Moving refrigerators around a plastic one is easier to slide in appliances. I got a bed rug to put on top of my spray in liner. That way I could take it out for certain things and put it back in for others. If that all makes sense.....

Makes complete sense.

Where do you get the bed rug? They aren't common in my region.

I will only use the drop in's. I think the steel they use in the bed's - especially the sides - dents way too easy now. I have hauled block, bricks, bikes, etc... and just throw the stuff in there and not worry about it, the bed is still new underneath the liner.

I bought mine from the dealer, liked the rams head emblem one over the hemi emblem, and got it for almost cost on my buddys account there for about $220 if I recall correctly and just popped it in right in the dealer parking lot. Would have been an interesting ride home if I didn't, they just pop in under the rails. Installed the tail gate cover at home.
