Default wheel spacers

Looking at putting 1 1/2" wheel spacers on my ram to push the mudders out a little more from under the truck, looking for feed back on the pro s and cons down the road.

go check in 3rd gen for "wheel spacers" i know theres countless threads on it. all i know is when you go to 1.5" your getting dangerous with the spacers that have bolts. where as I just went with 1/4" spacers. someone will explain it all much better

If you buy a wheel spacer, don't get a cheap one. Get ones that are hub centric. I bought 2 inch wheel adapters from http://www.motorsport-tech.com/
they made them to my specifications go to the web site and cick on custom adapters
then you can plug in the information and configure the adapters exactly the way you need them.

Thanks for the link.

Does anyone know the Center Bore size of the 20" chrome clad rims from a 2010 1500 Sport?

And how much spacer can you safely go with before you have to change the length of your stock wheel bolts?

Do you mean the center bore size of the wheel? If you have the stock wheel it should be the same as the hub size when you configure it on their web site. I was also confused about that when I ordered mine. I have a 2010 1500 Laramie. with 2inch wheel adapter; and that is how I configured mine, and they came out correct. you could also call them to verify.

I just went to the web site and thru there menu options, here is exactly what I ordered: 77.8mm

Wheel Adapter Configuration

*********************

2010 DODGE_TRUCK RAM_1500_2WD_-_4WD_WITH_OE_20
Your Bolt Pattern: 5x139.7mm
Your Hub Diameter: 77.8mm
*********************
Type: One Piece Adapter
Hub Centric to Car & Wheel Centric to Wheel
Thickness: 38mm
Thickness2: 38mm
Stud Size: 9/16
Center Bore: 77.8mm

*********************

I guess you can choose what ever stud size you want, or call them for their recomendation.
