Like the title says, where did you guys pull power for your clearance lights?

The 3rd gens had the harness in the passenger side A-pillar....it may be the same for the 4th gens.....

Here ya go buddy! This is the install sheet for the Ram 2500, use can use the same procedure for the 1500. I have a friend of mine out in AZ. who has installed the lights with out any problems using this sheet.

JC - I would check under the right front pillar, by the o S*** handle to see if there is a plug near the bottom. i know if you buy it from dodge you can get the harness for it to plug into that directly. other wise i followed the instructions fro go recon's website on their install, i wish i took pictures of it when i did on my 05, but i didn't. I think it is best if you buy a tube or 2 of rtv sealant, and seal the hell out of it, i never had a leak even in pouring down rain.

that just my 2 cents.

I know that's a MOPAR instruction sheet you posted and it shows running to the PDC (fuse box) for power in the '04 & '05 Rams and I know for a fact there is a jack in the passenger pillar for cab lights. Done this install on my truck and a friends' '05.

Pull the pillar and take a peek...

i did this install over the weekend, with the mopar lights. went to plug the wire into the T50 pin in harness and there was already a wire in it! any suggestions?

passenger side "kick panel" down by your feet on the right hand side. Pull the trim off and theres a white plug with (large about 50 wires). theres an orange wire...dont remember what color the tracer is i'll have to look. power comes on with light switch. let me know if ya need more help.
