just did my plug swap today on the 09 hemi. this guide was a nice way to prepare. didnt follow everything exactly but pretty much the same. i worked on one side of the truck at a time. i went ahead and pulled each coil pack off and got em out of the way. that helped a little bit. for sure the driver side a lot harder than the passenger side. lol. overall this truck was def. one of the easier plug changes ive ever done. especially on an 8cy. my 97 ford ranger 4cyl is a major pain in the azz compared to this truck..
i had 40,500 miles on mine, my plugs pretty much looked exactly like the original posters. color was perfect etc just some minor wear starting to happen on tip. the gap was starting to open up though. i was reading 44 to 45 with an accurate shim gauge. this is assuming the stock plugs were supposed to be gapped at 43? thats what i thought. if not then the gap was good still.
new plugs. i went with autolite 5325's . copper core with iridium electrode. seems to be about one of the only plugs u can switch to with out major probs. out of 16 plugs, about half were gapped correctly. other half needed adjustment.
major problem i found with the plugs is the tip was not centered over the electrode. almost all of them needed adjustment, being out one way or the other. im sure its part of the manufacturing and would be "ok" for most people. but i guess if you want a perfect plug u should adjust it.....

Another handy little tip is to take a short piece of 3/8 fuel line maybe 5" long and slide it over the end of the spark plug then slide it down in the hole and it will hold the plug tight enough to thread it in. That way you dont drop the plug in the hole and squish the ground strap down. then you can pull it off and use your regular socket and tighten it up.
