I disagree a little bit. I sold one of my Fords in 07 when the economy was worst. I had guys calling everyday on it. It is way easier to sell a Ford. Anyway, the express is a cheap version of the Slt. They only come in vinyl seats with optional carpet. And on cheaper trucks, just like the xlt compared to the lariat, they do put cheaper paint jobs on the trucks.

Im sure i will get it sold, its just going to take awhile.

And as for these guys who say they are getting high bluebook on trade in - get real, the dealer is just adjusting what they would have given you off on the new truck otherwise.
I understand the smoke and mirrors of buying and trading....as Dr Phil would say..."This ain't my first rodeo." I was just stating that my I was given the nada's highest value on the truck I traded in prior to any other negotiations.

The details on your Ford might have been different. Most almost 'almost new' don't sell quickly. Even dealers have a hard moving them. Now if the price is a really big savings over new thats a little different. I've known a few late model diesels with premium equipment stay for sale 6 months with nary a inquiry. Then priced dropped near wholesale and sold the following week. Everyone wants a deal buying. Certain packages are sought after makes a difference.

So they adjust the robots to paint "cheaper" on different vehicles? You ever worked in a paint shop at a factory, if you did you would not have said that. You should have bought another Ford, what was the reason for leaving the real one!

i know around here right outside DC, i went to buy my truck and they wouldnt even come below like 28/29 on a decently equpped 1500. so I went to new york and got a 2500 fully loaded for a few grand more.

i'd have to agree tho, a regular cab... is a hard truck to sell. i cant see anyone spending more than mid teens
