Default Not to sound paranoid but...

WHAT IS THIS? IS IT A CAMERA?! Is Dodge spying on me to find out what I think? Or the FBI or Police?

No, but seriously. Thought it was some sort of light to illuminate the console but it has never turned on. It sort of does look like a camera but I have no idea..

It's a HAL 9000 computer. You have good reason to be paranoid.

the small hole towards the back should be the green console light, the camera looking one should be an temp sensor for your automatically controlled AC

I'm telling ya it is a HAL 9000 computer. It wouldn't let me into the truck the other day. I had to go in through the the rear window and pull the CD out of the drive to get it to shut down.

Didn't realize HAL was an Apple product! Great video haha

I will test out all theories tonight after dark. I will do the hand test and I will also run frequency scanners to check for signals being sent to the shady white van parked across the street. Will report back with more as I have it.

Test was successful..

It really is a green light (aft hole) but the jury is still out on the forward "camera". I'm going to just have to believe angel85 (aka member of Dodge's mindcontrol division) that it's a temp sensor.

Thanks for all the feedback y'all!
